Gapless playback

Hi Alex,

for me it seems that the new feature with gapless playback sometimes causes problems. In fact, I sometimes encountered the problem that Winyl stops responding (looping the last played few seconds) when moving from one track to the next.

When i restart Winyl switching between the same two tracks is no problem. So i don't think the problem is caused by the specific tracks.

Happens from time to time.

Are you using DirectSound output? If no, try with it.

Yes, I'm using Direct Output.

Hm.. I cannot reproduce this bug. You say Winyl stops responding, is it mean not responding at all or only for a while?

Also try this test version http://vinylsoft.com/download/test/Winyl(TestGap1).zip
Unzip to program folder and run Winyl through Winyl(TestGap1).exe

It stops responding at all. Clicking anywhere then causes a crash.
And, sorry to say that, it happens with your test version, too. :-(

I'm starting to play an album, then after playing some 3 or 4 tracks (without any interaction of me) it stops working. It's not always the same tracks. So i really don't know what causes the problem.

Using Windows 7 Enterprise x64.

What did you change in the test version?
